Its cool

Nice app, but a couple big failures I see right away. First, you cant see the map and video feed at the same time in black box mode when in landscape. Thats relatively dumb. Second, the settings page is well detailed but nothing has any description. Its impossible to tell what each option does. The only place to find this info is to look at the tutorial, which isnt accessible from the settings screen. You have to go into a flight mode then to the tutorial, read what you want, back out of flight mode, back to settings. Too many steps. Each item on the settings page should have a quick hint.

I also wish they would ditch the 13 minimum altitude. So many shots I want to do at 6-8.

The focus mode is relatively terrible. It is constantly doing circles. If you are on a bike and move forward, the camera follows. If you stop, the phantom doesnt stop, will fly past the set horizontal distance then go in circles rather than backing up and keeping the proper distance. Makes for worthless video unless you are always moving.

Overall, the DJI app is better for regular old flight, but this is better with the new stuff released in recent firmware.
